Naughton's Bar

We had an excellent dinner at Naughton’s Bar in Kilkee. Our group of five showed up with one more than our reservation allowed, but Elaine handled it with ease and got us seated quickly without fuss. The service throughout the evening was prompt, friendly, and clearly well organized — the whole team is on point. Before dinner we had the pleasure of chatting with Paddy Collins behind the bar. His knowledge of Kilkee’s history, his great personality, and his warm hospitality set the tone for the night. He’s a gem. The food itself was absolutely delicious — starters and mains alike were top-notch, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Combine that with the very fair pricing and you get excellent value for money. Naughton’s is truly a testament to what makes Kilkee special: great food, genuine people, and welcoming service. Big thanks to Elaine, Paddy, and the whole team for a wonderful evening. We’ll definitely be back!

Quite simply - the star attraction from a foodie’s perspective in Kilkee! Naughton’s and Naughton’s Yard serve up delicious food in restaurants to rival any! Well run by the owner ! Staff so well trained and all in a gorgeous ambience of delicious food, decor and atmosphere . Bravo Naughton’s ! Thoroughly enjoyed every visit whilst on hols here ! Excellent chowder and prawn curry and everyone else at my table were happy were their food too. A few things letting it down. The bread was dry and thin, butter was skimpy and just out of the fridge, meals not coming at the same time and having to ask for the bill a number of times. I would have given a tip as I felt the staff were friendly and accommodating, unfortunately a service charge was added in without prior notice.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented — every dish looked like a work of art. The service was warm, fast, and made us feel truly welcome. And the prawns... wow! So fresh and full of flavor — a must-try!

The service was impeccable. The team is attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made sure that we felt at home from start to finish, offering great recommendations and making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. The ambiance is perfect for any occasion—whether you’re on a romantic date, a family dinner, or a casual night out with friends, Naughton’s has the perfect vibe. They even have a great selection of craft beers and wines to complement your meal. I can't recommend Naughton’s enough—it's one of those rare places where the quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere all come together perfectly. A true gem in Kilkee!
